Master Graph Paper Virtual in One Go
Everything you need to know about our vector drawing tools, graph navigation, precision snapping, layers, and true-to-life 1:1 scale paper printing.
How It Works in 3 Simple Steps
Configure Your Grid
Open Grid Settings to choose from Square, Dot Matrix, 3D Isometric, or Engineering Millimeter. Adjust spacing, color, and opacity in real-time.
Draw with Snap Precision
Toggle Snap to Grid on to lock starting and ending coordinates to intersections. Sketch freehand, create curved lines, draw arrows, rectangles, circles, or place text notes.
Export or Print 1:1 Scale
Export high-res PNG images, infinite SVG vectors, or download a calibrated PDF. Print directly onto physical A4 / Letter paper with no margins and 100% scale.
How to Pan & Adjust Your Graph
The graph paper canvas is infinite in all directions. Use any of these intuitive navigation methods to move and adjust your view:
Pan Tool (H)
Click the Hand icon or press H. Click and drag anywhere to glide across the paper.
Spacebar + Drag
While using any drawing tool, hold down Space and drag to pan without switching tools.
Middle-Click & Wheel
Press and drag your middle mouse wheel, or scroll two fingers on a trackpad to pan horizontally and vertically.
Center Origin (0,0)
Lost in space? Open the View menu and click Center Origin to snap back to the initial coordinate center.
Complete Vector Tools Guide
Every tool is designed for clarity, instant responsiveness, and exact technical drafting.
Select & Move
Hotkey: VClick any line, shape, or text label on the canvas to select it. Drag to reposition it anywhere. Press Delete to remove the selected item.
Freehand Pencil / Pen
Hotkey: PFluid organic sketching with mouse or stylus. Supports custom stroke thickness and line styles (solid, dashed, dotted).
Straight Line
Hotkey: LConnects point A to point B with absolute precision. When Snap to Grid is active, endpoints lock directly to grid intersections.
Curved Line (Arc)
Hotkey: CDraws smooth quadratic bezier curves and circular arcs between grid points. Perfect for charting parabolas, arches, and organic contours.
Vector Arrow
Hotkey: AStraight vector line with an aerodynamic arrowhead. Ideal for physics vectors, coordinate axes, dimension callouts, and flowchart paths.
Rectangle / Box
Hotkey: RDraws boxes, squares, and floor plan rooms. Supports transparent borders or solid background fill colors.
Circle / Ellipse
Hotkey: ORenders proportional circles or stretched ellipses from corner bounding coordinates. Supports stroke styles and fill.
Shape Fill
Hotkey: FClick any existing rectangle or circle on the canvas to fill its interior with the currently selected color swatch.

1:1 Physical Printing & PDF Setup
Graph Paper Virtual is calibrated to output real-world physical dimensions. If you set 25px grid on canvas, it formats cleanly for standard paper sizes. To ensure zero printer distortion:
Never select "Fit to Page" or "Shrink to Printable Area". Set scale to exactly 100%.
In the browser print preview dialog, select "Margins: None" or "Minimum".
Check the "Background Graphics" box if you want faint grid lines to print.
